Just two years after a major overhaul, TAG Heuer makes a splash with another impressive update to their iconic Aquaracer Professional 300 diver. They’re still tough and waterproof down to 300 meters, even though they’re slimmer.
The most striking update lies on the dial, where a captivating wave pattern replaces the previous, more basic design. This intricate motif, previously introduced on the 36mm Aquaracers, adds a touch of dynamism and may resonate with a wider audience. Aligning with the case size adjustment, the dial diameter has been reduced, allowing for a more balanced placement of the date window at 6 o’clock. The date cyclops discreetly resides beneath the sapphire crystal for a seamless aesthetic.
TAG Heuer decided to ditch the old watch “engine” (called a caliber) they used before. Instead, they built their own new ones for these Aquaracers – the Calibre TH31-00 (for the date model) and TH31-03 (for the GMT model).
